Josiah Ahrends

Hi, I’m Josiah Ahrends, 19 years old, and the owner and Chief Sales Operator at Canvas Landscaping. Ever since I was 8 and 9, I’ve loved building things; gathering supplies and turning them into something real. I even helped build parts of the house I live in now, and that experience showed me how much I enjoyed the work. That passion naturally carried over into landscaping.

What draws me most to this field is working outdoors, designing and creating landscapes, and connecting directly with people. I love finishing a job, stepping back to see the transformation, and knowing the customer is truly happy with the result.

I’m Teddy Baumgartner, Owner and Chief Marketing Officer of Canvas Landscaping LLC. I’m passionate about connecting with customers and sharing our work through creative posts, campaigns, and ads. Co-owning the company with Josiah has been an incredible journey, giving me the chance to grow in both marketing and landscaping while tackling new challenges every day.

What I enjoy most is working outdoors and transforming outdated spaces into fresh, beautiful landscapes. To me, landscaping is about more than improving yards—it’s about helping people reimagine their space and create something they’ll love for years to come.
